There were once three brothers. The eldest was a gentle soul, he spent most of his time in gardens and among nature. The second was feisty and unyielding, always with a tendency to pick fights. The third was always torn between the two in his temperament. Always chasing after either of his brothers, he naturally fell into a kind of midway personality. Because his brothers never spent as much time with one another, he did not develop a well balanced personality. Always bouncing between a state of peace an rage. This concerned their father, who grew more and more strict over their lives to temper them all. The eldest he sent away to war to learn that the world will not be as gentle to him as he was to nature. The second son he sent deep into the solitude of nature where he could make no enemies for himself. The third son he kept, tempering him with trials and lessons and studies that he would have the power to harness himself.
Later in life, the three brothers returned to one another and their father reformed them into his council. They served him for many years until his passing, creating prosperity and guiding victory for the wars of his conquest. The eldest brother was hardened by his time in war, the second was left dried of his need for violence, and the third was dulled of his imbalance. Trapped in the middle with no sense of either chaos or serenity, the youngest brother grew gray eyes and his senses were left reduced. None of them again experienced laughter, sorrow, or anger. Their father's war and regime steeling their souls to a lifeless life.
When their father passed, the brothers became aimless for a time. When the time came to set forth a new era arrived, they decided to rebuke their father's ways of war and conquering. In an effort to garner a kingdom of peace which would not know the terror of war, or need to lose feeling like themselves, they created a utopia which was not prepared for any invasion. Upon the arrival of a great enemy, their reformed empire was reduced to nothing and became a lost memory. In their grief, the brothers unraveled back to their true natures. This time, with many lessons learned; including a terrible final lesson to never believe one may simply close their eyes to chaos, they began again.
The fate of their final era was then lost to history. It is said that the brothers became too jaded and received too grand an inheritance to sustain any further future for themselves.
